We delivered a stand attraction for our client NMU at the BIBA (British Insurance Brokers’ Association) conference and exhibition hosted at Manchester Central. NMU provides insurance solutions across cargo, marine equipment, freight, engineering, terrorism and motorsport.
With over 100 exhibitors with stand space at the event it was imperative for NMU to choose an attraction that would help them stand out. The year previously, they chose our Motorbike Simulator, so we were aware of their requirements. The key for them is picking a simulator which will attract both male and female, easy to access and something that no other stand is likely to have.
With the brief in mind, we narrowed the possibilities down to a selection of our racing simulators. The client is always keen to try out the simulators before they make their final decision so we invited them to our warehouse for an afternoon of simulator game playing! As soon as they tested our 301 Motion Simulator with a Virtual Reality headset they knew it was the one for their stand. This simulator offers unrivalled motion capabilities to make the racing experience as realistic as possible.
Exhibitions are a great way for brands to capture data and gather leads. We use our interactive iPad based scoring system to not only gather the data, but to show a live leaderboard of the fastest people over the event days. NMU were then able to announce the winner and award them with a fantastic prize after the exhibition, whilst receiving a database of contact details for future use.
Branding our simulators can go further than simply adding logo’s, we also offer a full vinyl wrap service to change the base colour of our simulators. NMU’s main corporate colour and background to their logo is black, which meant our red 301 Motion Motion simulator was not fitting with their corporate image. Because this simulator had never been wrapped before, it was a new challenge for us, however we overcome this quickly and the outcome was a great looking simulator that fit the image of NMU as a company and their exhibition stand.
The event attracted 6,379 attendees and 3,950 brokers, making it the largest BIBA conference yet. An unprecedented number of delegates attended the stand and from this we gathered a database of leads for the client.
