@ The Mobile World Congress

The Brief

Our brief was to create an imaginative, interactive space at a global exhibition, which represents Formula 1 and its emerging digital platforms. This included a live video link to the testing taking place at Circuit De Catalunya in Barcelona. The timescale for delivery was less than 5 weeks from initial brief to delivery, with the event taking place at Fira Gran Via for the Mobile World Congress.

Our Approach

The stand was designed around the presentation of F1 shows cars with giant LED screens and LED columns to present the new, high energy F1 digital content. Illuminated desks showcased the new logo and were utilised as social platform desks to engage people in the content (the desks have since been used to present the brand new F1 Twitter show from live in the F1 Paddock). E-sports was also showcased at the exhibition to help launch one of F1’s most exciting new platform.

The Delivery

The tight deadline pushed us to the limit from 3D design, concept approval and asset manufacturing, but all our suppliers worked tirelessly to achieve this and the international delivery was on time.

The Benchmark

We worked with several departments at Formula 1 to make sure all objectives were achieved for their FIRST EVER exhibition, the event was deemed a great success for all involved.
